Tenzin GGT graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a dual
degree in Social Thought and Political Economy and Chinese Language and
Literature. At UMass, Tenzin worked as the Undergraduate Coordinator for the Yuri
Kochiyama Cultural Center and received the 2014 Student and Community Building
Leadership Award.
In Washington, D.C., Tenzin spent two years at the law firm of Crowell & Moring,
working on complex compensation claims for victims of terrorism and litigation
against state sponsors of terrorism. Tenzin has also worked at Senator Bernie
Sanders office and the United States Department of Agriculture.
Tenzin is a 1L at the American University Washington College of Law. He will be
spending this summer with Prudential as a 1L Summer Intern. Tenzin aspires to
pursue a career in Corporate Law, and hopes to own a business in the future. He is
passionate about the intersection of politics, business, and law.
